Local Minister’s Response to the Collapsed Bridge

Minneapolis pastor and author, John Piper, has responded to the collapse of the I-35 bridge with a blog post/article that has been viewed 30,000 times as of this writing (www.desiringGod.org/blog/745). His ministry, Desiring God, has compiled a video of their own footage of the disaster scene with comments from Piper on why there is such suffering in the world (www.desiringGod.org/blog/747). Currently on YouTube this video is #7 most linked and #29 most viewed in the “People and Blogs” category today; and it is #43 most linked today out of all videos.

Dr. Piper is the Pastor for Preaching and Vision at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN, located within a mile of the collapsed bridge.
